Addington Coffee Co-op

It's raining and I'm freezing as I rush to get into this cozy cafe on the second day of Autumn. When I open the door, I feel a great warmth thanks to this place having heaters mounted on every wall I could see. I see a coffee roaster in the corner being manned by a woman.

The vibe is serene, some are working away on their laptops, some are chattering away quietly. Everyone's minding their own business.

I feel like I'm in a wood cabin in the middle of a thunderstorm, ready to curl up next to a fireplace with a coffee and a cozy book.

I order a hot chocolate & eggs on this delicious sourdough toast to the smiling lady at the counter.

The staff are friendly and the food and drink are even friendlier. This is my new favourite spot in Christchurch.
